She has a wonderful pale pressed bisque head, blue threaded paperweight eyes with painted upper and lower lashes, and mauve blushing under brows. The head has been lit and is without damage, including hairlines or restoration. The head is circa 1877-1883, was manufactured in Paris, France, by Jumeau. The number “8” is incised low on her bisque neck socket. She is on a marked Bebe Jumeau body which is not her original straight wrist body - this is why you have the opportunity to purchase this gorgeous girl for less than the usual 5-6k price tags of similar dolls. She is dressed in a beautiful antique white cotton ensemble with antique undergarments - all expertly styled and fitted by Linda at our doll shop. We even provided her with Bebe Jumeau shoes.
