Antique Mexican SS Los Ballesteros Taxco Bracelet
This is an antique signed bracelet from Mexico.  There is a stylized "B" in
a circle which reads:  Talleres de Los Ballesteros  Taxco. Gro.  Above the circle
is " Sterling 925" and below  "Hecho en Mexico".
The clasp is a pin connected to a chain which is attached on each end to the
bracelet.  This is an older type clasp
which was used before they added
numbers to their mark.  Possibly from the 40's or before.
The bracelet weighs 99.2 grams and is very thick and heavy.  The designed
panel links fit into each other and connect by a fitted pin.  Very well
designed with much thought given to the entire bracelet.
Each panel is 1 1/2" x 1 1/4" and 1/8" thick.
The designer is a noted Taxco artist listed in books and produced lovely
sterling silver jewelry.
