A paddle handmade by Walt of a solid piece of Hickory, it is a full 20 inches long by 3.5 inches wide and 1/2 inch thick.
All surfaces are sanded ultra-smooth and edges are rounded. There are no splinters or sharp corners or edges.
Walt applies multiple coats of non-yellowing lacquer to all paddles for a fine furniture-like finish.
The Brute is totally up to just about any task you can imagine. It's a full 20 inches long by 3.5 inches wide, a size that's enough to put the fear in just about anyone. USA shipping is free.
Since I make every one of my paddles with my own hands from solid wood, there will be some differences in size, color, and grain configuration from one paddle to the next.  And since wood is a natural product, there will be irregularities from one piece to the next.  This should not be taken as a defect.  As in anything handmade, the beauty and value are in the uniqueness of every piece created.
