GORGEOUS! CEL 925 SILVER MEXICO ORNATE JEWELED NECKLACE AMETHYST,CORAL,TURQUOISE
This Mexican Ornate silver is an example of the Antique Mexico City style in which Matilde Poulat excelled. It is signed by "CEL", one of the best and one of my favorites, that exceed expectations like Dominguez, Morales, Rivera, and Martinez,, these were great maestros who created jewelry in that same style. This necklace proves that quality and attention to detail does not always require a "big" signature.
These pieces are getting harder to find, these are not cooies, these are handwrougth pieces original work of these maestros, the color of the stones are beautiful.
Measuring 19 inches length , center piece measures 2 1/2" height including thw amethysts tears and 3" wide, necklace weighs 65 grams. It is signed with maker's initials "CEL" as well as "STERLING MEXICO 925"and ME02 dates .
