NCR 1639-K158 CN10328 DB25 RJ45 Serial Printer Adapter for Aloha Radiant Systems

Description

This is an NCR adapter to connect the RS-232 / DB25 serial port on the back of compatible POS receipt printers to a point of sale system using a RJ-45 cable (cable is not included).
The second photo shows an example of the earlier version of this adapter installed on a receipt printer. This photo is intended as an example of the application and only the black adapter in the first photo will be included. No cables, printers, or other components are included.

The larger male serial DB25M end is a 25-pin interface which utilizes 4 of the 25 pin slots (see photos of the larger end). The other end is a 8-pin RJ45F female, which is intended for a serial cable (not included) connection, and this does not convert the printer to Ethernet, even though the connector looks the same.
