Pre Eagle Vintage Mexican Sterling Silver & Turquoise Bracelet

Description

Dating from the 1930's - 40's, this hand wrought pre eagle vintage Mexican Sterling Silver Bracelet features an unusual construction of 12 links. Each link has a bezel set green turquoise stone. The bracelet has nice flexibility so that it beautifully conforms to the wrist. The catch is a hook type that seamlessly fits into the last bracelet link at the other end creating an endless illusion when worn.
Marked near the catch MADE IN MEXICO SILVER. It is also marked inside the hook link MEXICO STERLING with initials next to the mark AAR noted in Bille Hougart's "Mexican Silver Hallmarks" book.
