BERNICE GOODSPEED (?-1971) Arrived in Mexico City in 1930 to study Mexican culture and arts. Although she referred to herself as a writer, she and her husband, artist and painter Carl Papped, also designed and sold jewelry, as well as Pappe's artwork and Goodspeed's books at their Taxco shop.
