Taxco sterling silver panel bracelet.
The bracelet is marked with
JPR (eagle head) ECHO EN MEXICO DF STERLING 925 TAXCO
. It was crafted in Taxco and assayed in Mexico City. The sterling bracelet has gilt overlay around the edges and in the centers of each panel. The panels appear to portray 2 warriors in eagle headdresses, a chieftain, a slain warrior draped over the Mayan calendar, the full Mayan calendar and the Mexican eagle. These renderings are done in fine detail. The bracelet has graduated panels, and is about 1 1/8 inches at the widest and about 3/4 inches at the narrowest. It is about 7 inches long. The box clasp works properly and holds securely. The bracelet is in excellent pre-owned condition, with no damage.
