considering that the bracelet is more than forty years old- & it was worn
by me quite often, the condition is very good
the hinge moves smoothly & easily, the closure
snaps tight, very secure
superficial scratches & minimal
patina do exist
but we know that a jeweler could buff & polish & it
would look awesome
as it is, it is very wearable now, but my hands
are in clay daily, designing, so no point in letting it sit in a drawer

as it always oxidizes with air, lotions, general use
is to keep it in an airtight plastic baggie
when you are not wearing it
you also could purchase silver non-tarnish strips (here on eBay)
to retard oxidation, but airtight storage is really the best method
never forget that sterling is a soft metal
as you wear it, you will see some signs of usage
but that only adds to the "character" of the piece
a positive, not a negative
