Authentic sterling silver Mexican clamper style bracelet signed CP. This vintage bypass style bracelet is big and bold and very typical of the hand made bracelets from the 1950's. Opposing open ribbons form the ends of this bracelet while a stylish pattern of granulated ball shape designs extend around the circumference of the bracelet in parallel channels. The bracelet is hinged at the bottom and opens up towards the top to fit the wrist. Stamped on the inside of the bracelet are the letters "CP" and some other words I can't decipher. Based on the style and age believe this bracelet to have been manufactured in Taxco, Mexico. The bracelet measures 3 and one-quarter inch at the widest point at the top to one inch at the base. This bracelet has not been cleaned or polished. Shows age appropriate wear which adds to the character and style of the bracelet. Weighs a very solid 49 grams.
