    Description

This vintage Mexican silver cuff bracelet is a William Spratling Pre-Columbian design, but slightly wider and I’d say a bit more bold (if slightly less refined) than Spratling’s original design, which dates to the late 1930s.  I’m guessing this bracelet is probably circa 1940s-‘50s but please use your own best judgment. It’s hallmarked “Mexico” and “950” for silver that’s slightly more pure than sterling.  It measures just under 1.5” wide and the wearable length is about 6.5” total which INCLUDES a gap of about 1 1/8”.  It’s ever so slightly out of round but in good vintage condition otherwise.  Please take a close look at the photos.
It’s got a nice weight without being overly heavy, about 2.2 oz (62.36 grams or about 2.00 Troy ounces) on my postal scale.
It’s a beautiful, striking, good quality piece and I think you’ll really love it!
    Thanks for looking!
