This is such an exquisite piece! This vintage sterling silver piece is from Taxco Mexico, circa 1955. The bracelet is just beautifully designed, each curving link, featuring Colonial style flourishes in an almost Art Nouveau motif. Each section is incised for added decoration that mimics the flowing nature of the links. The bracelet closes well with a slide in clasp and the artist is noted in Hougart's book on Mexican Silver marks. This piece of art is exceptionally well made and is a weighty 42.8 grams of sterling. This is hallmarked with "MRV Sterling Taxco 925 Eagle (3)". The overall length is 6 1/4 inch, while the inner circumference when closed is 7 1/2 inches. A wrist that measures 7 inches would fit comfortably. And the height/width is 1 1/8 inches. While this piece is pre-owned, it is still polished to a mirror finish!
