Up for sale/auction is a classic old Mexico bracelet from circa 1940s to 50s and crafted from 980 silver. It features four puffy leaf and ball segments, with the central fifth segment featuring a round turquoise stone. In between each segment is a beautifully twisted ring. The bracelet measures 8 and 3/16” from end to end, but to fasten with the hook and ring, it will fit a wrist no larger than 7.5” maximum. It is a nice 3/4” wide and weighs 45 grams. It is hallmarked on the hook, Mex and 980. There is also an indistinguishable hallmark on the end ring.
Condition:
In very good vintage pre-owned/worn condition. Retains the mellow patina from 980 silver purity that has not been ruined by over-cleaning. The bracelet fastens securely. I have included images (look for the red circles in the photographs) of the minor dings to a couple of segments. I swear these look worse in the magnified photos, and you really don’t notice them when the bracelet is worn, but I include photos as part of the description. There is also one twisted ring that is not soldered completely shut, but it is secure and the silver is thick enough that it does not open.

Please review all photos and descriptions of condition. Photos are part of the description. All measurements are approximate and done to the best of my ability. Ring size is measured on a standard mandrel. Weights are provided in grams and measured on a postal scale that is calibrated.
I do not accept returns, but will do my best with you to ensure you receive communication from me. Ebay is filled with buyers who only want to flip items. I sell for design, quality and beauty, not for scrap metal value.
These items are all vintage, antique (older than 50 years), or from a secondary contemporary marketplace. As such, there will be scuffs, scratches on stones and metal, visible use, sometimes slightly bent ring bands or clasps or rings that need attention. I will do my best to photograph these or point out any issues.
I leave the patina on pieces, especially with oxidation. If you would prefer something to be shinier and polished before it is mailed, please contact me and I will use an industry recommended product to hand polish, although it may leave a slight odor that can easily be removed by you with rinsing in water with gentle detergents.

This is a smoke-free household but we do have cats, so if a stray hair makes its way into your package, I cannot take responsibility for your allergic reaction. But I promise, the cats are not allowed to wear the jewelry when they party at night.
