Description
~PLEASE READ ALL TEXT AND LOOK AT ALL PHOTOS~VINTAGE Pre-EAGLE Sterling Silver BRACELET. Marked as described in Bille Hougart's
Little Book of Mexican Silver Trade and Hallmarks
~with an early pre-eagle Mark "MEXICO SILVER."
No Eagle stamp~also indicative of an early piece~1940's or earlier.
This BRACELET measures about 6 1/2" from end to end~1 1/8" wide. FOUR PIN-HINGED PANELS in lovely TRADITIONAL wave and ball design. Photos demonstrate the exceptional workmanship, so please look at them carefully.
Weighs about 2 ounces. Hook and Eye clasp closes securely. Condition is excellent vintage~a couple of very small depressions on the balls~not even serious enough to be called "dents." It's a REAL LOOKER!
LOVELY to WEAR and makes a STATEMENT! NICE patina~and a wonderful piece of the HISTORY of the MEXICAN SILVER RENAISSANCE inspired by William Spratling following the Revolution of 1910.
A good investment~AND a BEAUTY!
This one is a winner! From my personal collection, but must downsize as we move into retirement! Take it home with you. You won't regret it!
