Vtg. Mexican Sterling Silver 7.25" Bracelet & Pendant Set by Pedro Castillo

Presented here is a beautiful Mexican sterling silver bracelet and pendant set by Pedro Castillo of Taxco, Mexico.  The set includes a 7 1/4" long bracelet consisting of decorative scrolled links with a ring and toggle clasp, and a pendant that matches the bracelet links.  The bracelet may have been created from a section of a necklace, since the small links connecting the scrolled links are offset.  Although the bracelet is unmarked (reinforcing the likelihood that it was part of a necklace), the pendant is well-marked with a stamp bearing Pedro Castillo's logo, encircled by the words "Taxco" and "Hecho en Mexico", with an additional "Sterling" stamp and a Mexican eagle stamp.  The bracelet, which weighs 15.4 grams, measures 7 1/4" long x 3/4" wide.  The pendant, which weighs 3 grams, measures 1 1/4" long x 3/4" wide.  The condition of both pieces is excellent, with only extremely minimal wear.  Whether worn on their own, or together as a set, each of these pieces makes an elegant statement, while being simple enough for everyday wear.
